Wildlife In Panama
A few photos and descriptions of the species you might or not encounter while birding in Panama.
![]() As a general rule always keep your distance and try not to interfere with wildlife. Remember wildlife is not there to perform for you, they are on their own schedule, so sit back, relax, watch, and wait… and if you don't know the terrain take a local guide along, especially in the rain forests its easy to get lost so better be safe the sorry! Also note that the rain forest is not like a zoo, probably you wont see any of its inhabitants at all, sometimes they show up but most of the time they probably see you first and run away or hide.
